When patients book appointments with providers on Medimap, we want to be sure that they are getting the care that they need and that our clinics are getting patients who make sense for them!
Patients sometimes book without reading the full profile description. This is where "Important Information" becomes well... important!
This field shows up in the booking window when the patient confirms their appointment, giving your practice the opportunity to be clear about what you offer. This can be things such as not being licensed to prescribe medication or only serving paediatric clientele!
Follow the steps below to update this field:
- Login to the Practice Portal at https://medimap.ca/clinic-login
- In the left side menu, select "Scheduling Options"
- You will find the "Important Information" text box at the bottom of the page.
- Enter the details that you want patients to know before they book with your practice.
- Click "Save"
- These details will now show every time a patient goes to book an appointment with your practice!
